Schoppe Bräu Berlin
Born in Kreuzberg
Hops, malt and elbow grease
Fresh from the capital
Craft brewery since 2001
Strong Eisbock with a fine rum character. Former Jack Daniels barrel.
It's Finland's great Sahti beer that inspired us to produce our own version, in collaboration with Fat Lizard. This one is brewed with juniper branches and berries. The result: a deftly modern interpretation that infuses the aroma of juniper into an American IPA.
Schoppe Bräu Berlin
Dancing Camel Tel Aviv
to celebrate Liv Schoppe's birth on Aug. 3, 2016
During bad harvests of bygone years, birch sap would replace the malt in beer. Our Birki takes a modern twist on a medieval recipe, packing 8% birch sap meticulously sourced from Sweden's Lapland region. The result is a wallop of herbal-fruity flavor in a one-of-a-kind beer.
Josef Ehrmaier grew the famous, American cascade hops on his family estate in Bavaria. He lovingly called his finest field, "Little Cascade Valley." The hops took on unique characteristics thanks to the area's particular microclimate and soil properties. Our single hop ale let's you experience that one-of-a-kind taste.
Ours is brimming with unbridled, refreshing fruitiness, top-fermented with notes of banana and well-rounded with a hint of passion fruit which comes from dry hopping it with chinook. A Bavarian wheat it's not.
For this one we've pulled out all the stops: Pushed our brewery to the max then lovingly folded in 200 vanilla beans by hand. Not for your average house cat.
Copying isn't our thing. We've put together the riveting attributes of two, classic Belgian beers: the taste-bud tingling, herbal fruitiness of a wit (loads of orange peels and coriander seeds) with the hearty, malty body of a dubbel.
Molle like a molle should be: nice 'n' easy.
Simple and simply good. A beer for the ages.
We believe a pils has got to be unabashedly hoppy. Hoppy Schoppy is our answer to the bland, mass-market beer. No hops, no glory!
A refreshing dunkles rounded off by roasted malt. Relentless but companionable. For the gritty drinker with rolled-up sleeves.
Flower Power may be lighter than your typical IPA, but no less aromatic. Drink it, and you'll feel like Alice in Wonderland (without the shrooms). Drink too much of it, you may begin to hallucinate, anyway.
The Berlin Ale – our version of an English classic and in homage to our city's great film festival, the Berlinale. Jury says: winner.
It doesn't get greener or fresher than this. Each batch of natural hops is lovingly picked and pressed by the nimble hands of our very own hobbit colony.
True hopped complexity. This beer is as diverse as the hood its from: straight outta Kreuzberg!
Our red ale boasts pleasing hues due to the roasted malt and its creamy, rye body. 35% rye malt is what gives this beer its pumpernickel character.
XPA's big brother. More bark. More bite.
For those who can't get enough.
The conventional stout has always left us craving more: A beer that starts off strong and creamy, but ends thin and tasteless. That's why our stout is brewed at 9% – enough punch to get you to the bottom.

About Schoppe Bräu
Hops, malt and elbow grease
We've stuck by this motto from the beginning. We brew our beer in small batches, by hand and with the highest-quality ingredients. We don't filter and we don't heat-treat, ensuring our beverage is the freshest and hardiest you can find.
Modern mass-market breweries claim their beer is “technically” pure, though it lacks taste and character. Our intense, complex, full-bodied beer is made to excite the drinker's tastebuds, not a PR agency's ad spot.
We want you to experience beer's full breadth and depth, which is why we pursue brewing methods off the beaten track alongside traditional ones. Today, what's come to be known as “craft beer” is often associated with slick jargon, but we are first and foremost brewers…
…simply so and proud of it.
